Het is heel simpel, sloop twee van die &#8216;cones&#8217; uit een luidspreker, draai daar luid een instrument op af (harde klanken van een synthesizer of trompet), druk de cones hard tegen je strottenhoofd en en zeg precies op de tonen de lettergrepen van een tekst. Zonder die tekst dan ook echt uit te spreken, je vormt woorden met je strottehoofd, en gestuurd door de sterke klanken tegen je keel, komt het sonovoxgeluid zomaar je mond uit. Te zien is hoe hij de tekst &#8220;Serving the universe&#8221; (nogal bekend, het komt uit een Z100 jingle) voor de Engelse kledingzaak Top Shop doet.
