\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/span>15.09.2010<\/strong> – Verrassend nieuws uit Dallas, het jinglebedrijf Thompson Creative is deze week overgenomen door ‘Scottsdale, AZ: Music Oasis, Inc”, de moedermaatschappij van ZONE Radio Imaging. Dat is een onderneming van Bruce Upchurch, jingle-veteraan uit de stad. Hij schreef honderden jingles in de afgelopen decennia: voor TM, JAM en Thompson. Thompson maakt daarmee een doorstart onder nieuw management. \u201cI’ve always been a huge fan of Thompson Creative,\u201d zegt Bruce Upchurch in een verklaring:\u00a0 \u201cWe’ll be taking the \"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>Thompson Creative brand forward, offering their current catalog, developing great new products and continuing their fabulous customer care.\u201d Thompson Creative kwam door de economische crisis in zwaar weer terecht. Ansderhalf jaar geleden werd het legendarische studiogebouw waarin ze huizen (van PAMS, aan de 4141 Office Parkway) al voor 1,3 miljoen dollar te koop gezet. In dat gebouw werden ook de programma’s samengesteld voor Tom Kent (TKO Network). Kent was de eigenaar van Thompson, maar na een onderling conflict werden de verhoudingen onder druk gezet. \u201cOur TKO Radio Network has been a 24\/7 commitment for me\u201d zegt Larry Thompson, zaakuitvoerder van Thompson Creative. \u201cWhen we decided our jingle company needed a new home to grow, we looked no further than the jingle master himself\u2026Bruce Upchurch! I’m delighted that our 115 jingle package library and loyal client base will be in his capable hands for many years to come.\u201d Het is niet bekend of er in het nieuwe bedrijf een taak is weggelegd voor Larry Thompson.
