Ooit het vlaggenschip voor alle nieuwe jingles die PAMS in Dallas maakte. In de jaren zestig en een flink deel van de jaren zeventig onbetwist de nummer 1 in de allergrootste radiomarkt van Amerika. Het station zat aan de 1300 Avenue of the Americas (bijnaam van 6th Avenue &#8211; en rechts op deze foto). Toen ABC uit het gebouw vertrok, kreeg ook Talkradio WABC een ander adres, op 2 Penn Plaza, in het oude Pennsylvania Station. Dat is het ronde gebouw erachter, de fameuze concertzaal met 20.000 stoelen van The Concert for Bangla Desh en andere legendarische concerten (als Stones, Dylan, Elton John).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Het radiostation zit geheel anoniem in het gebouw, geen naam op het raam, geen bordje naast de bel. Je komt pas langs de security als je van tevoren bent aangemeld. WABC is\u00a0 geheel uit het straatbeeld van New York verdwenen: geen billboards meer, geen busreclame, geen stickers, geen andere reclame-uitingen. 77 WABC is een tamelijk rechtse praatzender nu.
