Een gebouw(tje) met een inmiddels lange jinglehistorie. Deze week een artikel over dat gebouwtje, in 2 delen. Vandaag deel 2.<br \/><br \/>In 1977 kreeg het pand aan de Insurance Lane 4631 een nieuwe eigenaar: ene Jon Wolfert, jonge ondernemer en jinglefanaat. Hij zette daar het bedrijf JAM op, samen met zijn vrouw Mary Lyn. Ook Chris Kershaw ging daar aan de slag. Het pand werd ingrijpend verbouwd, eigenlijk bleven alleen de muren overeind. Er kwamen studio&#8217;s en kantoren. Kijk maar naar de foto hierboven met Mary Lyn Wolfert. Het JAM-logo kwam er te hangen in 1978, terwijl er net een zangsessie bezig was voor radiostation WLS in Chicago. Dit keer waren het Larry en Susan Thompson die het bedrijf Thompson Creative daar lieten bloeien. Want JAM had inmiddels een eigen studio gebouwd. Dat Thompson daar kwam was tamelijk tegen de zin van Jon Wolfert. Dat pand verrees in 2015.<br \/>Vandaag-de-dag zit er op het adres Insurance Lane Dallas 4631 &#8211; inderdaad &#8211; een kapperszaak met de intrigerende naam The Songbird Society, gerund door het kappersechtpaar Jennifer Thomas en Richard Hayler.
