Een gebouw(tje) met een inmiddels lange jinglehistorie. Deze week een artikel over dat gebouwtje, in 2 delen. Vandaag deel 1.<br \/><br \/>In maart 1975 werd het betrokken door Chris Kershaw en Rush Beesley met hun bedrijf Sundance. Chris Kershaw (overleden in 2013) was jinglecomponist en -zanger, Rush Beesley kwam van jinglebedrijf Tanner. In het gebouw werden in anderhalf jaar tijd enkele handen vol jinglepakketten opgenomen. Ook werden er grammofoonplaten opgenomen; hele albums en singles, waaronder voor zangeres en model Meri Wilson, die het ver schoot met haar hit Telephone Man. Sundance wad geen lang leven beschoren. Chris Kershaw ging verder in de jingle-industrie, Rush Beesley zette Rushworks op. Dat werkte voor de broadcast- en professionele AV-markten. Dat was een &#8216;schuilnaam&#8217; voor het jinglebedrijf Pepper Tanner uit Memphis. Dat wilde de jinglemarkt in Dallas binnendringen, maar niet onder de eigen naam, want die was &#8211; in Dallas- niet best. Ook toen werd er slechts een handvol jinglepaketten opgenomen.
