Een quadrafonische tuner van Technics <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n


13.12.2024<\/strong> – Wel eens van quadrafonie gehoord? Quadrafonie  (Quadro<\/span><\/strong>fonie mag ook) is eigenlijk een soort dubbele stereo. Muziek gemaakt voor 4 speakers. En ja, er zijn ook jingles gemaakt in quadrafonie.

Producent PAMS (1951 \u2013 1978) bracht bijvoorbeeld Pacesetter uit. Begin jaren \u201970. En dat was knap gedurfd, want er waren amper radiostations die in \u2018quad\u2019 uitzonden. Het was behoorlijk duur voor zenders om in quad uit te zenden, en bovendien wilde niemand die naar FM luisterde de moeite nemen om 4 luidsprekers aan te schaffen in plaats van 2. Maar het station WBT 108 FM in Charlotte durfde het aan. Opvallend, want het station noemde zich in de quad jingles Stereo 108 FM. Als onze informatie klopt, heeft ook JAM quad jingles gemaakt, en wel in 1975 voor WQUD in Memphis. Dus ja, er waren ook quadrafonische jingles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
