15.08.2023<\/strong> – Beatles-fans willen alles weten van de piano waarop Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da werd gespeeld. (Het antwoord vind je hier<\/a>.) Zo vinden wij het aardig om te weten dat jingleproducent JAM in Dallas twee dezelfde piano’s heeft die al meer dan 50 jaar in duizenden jingles te horen zijn. We verraden vast het merk: Kawai<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAM (Jon Wolfert) kocht de piano in 1977 van de Sundance-studio aan 4631 Insurance Lane in Dallas. JAM deed daar in haar vroege jaren veel jingle-sessies. Uiteindelijk kocht Wolfert het pand en bracht er JAM in onder. “Maar ik weet niet wanneer Sundance de piano aanschafte, ik schat begin jaren 70”, schrijft Jon Wolfert desgevraagd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op verzoek van jinglefan Albert Pleijsier heeft Jon Wolfert recent de piano van boven tot onder bekeken op zoek naar meer feiten. “Vanavond heb ik hem helemaal bekeken, eronder en erin, op zoek naar iets dat me het modelnummer zou vertellen. Hoewel er op een paar plaatsen Kawai staat, is er niets te vinden over het model. Op het metaal is “No. 500” te lezen, en elders staat “250220”. Maar ik weet niet wat die cijfers betekenen”, aldus Jon Wolfert. Jaren na de Sundance-aankoop schafte Jon nog een twee exemplaar van dezelfde piano aan vanwege de prachtige klank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In februari 2014 bezoekt jingle-fan Bob Dinan JAM. Jon speelt bij die gelegenheid live op de piano in Studio A en Bob neemt het op. Wie bekend is met jingles herkent het logo van 97 WYNY in New York<\/a> in de langst denkbare JAM-versie, gecomponeerd in 1979. En gespeeld dus op een Kawai. De jingle-piano van JAM-boss Jon Wolfert.
