Die liet een koffiezet-apparaat zien (een percolator) waar het water hoorbaar door de filter druppelde. De muziek paste daar heel goed bij, op de maat van de druppelende koffie.<br \/>Al snel kreeg het muziekje vleugels. Er kwam een plaat-versie van <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GwWweTkuIFo');\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GwWweTkuIFo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Al Hirt<\/a> getiteld Perky, vrij snel opgevolgd door een andere uitvoering: de <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OcyHyqnsEdA');\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OcyHyqnsEdA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Percolator (Twist)<\/a> door Billy Joe &amp; the Checkmates.<br \/>De jinglebedrijven van die tijd hoorden dat natuurlijk allemaal ook. En dus kwamen er jingle-varianten van producenten als PAMS, Tanner en later JAM. Tot in Nederland (Top Format) aan toe. Luister hieronder naar een montage van een aantal koffie-jingles.
