Hij speelde trompet en Franse hoorn in tal van bands en showorkesten. En gans Dallas kent hem omdat hij 22 jaar lang het volkslied speelde voorafgaand aan de football games van de Dallas cowboys in het Texas Stadium. Rond 1953 maakte hij deel uit van de Cell Block 7. Daarmee trad hij vaak op in de Ruby&#8217;s Vegas Club, eigendom van Jack Ruby, die tien jaar later Kennedy-moordenaar Lee Harvey Oswald doorschoot. Kortom: Tommy Loy (overleden in 2002 op 72-jarige leeftijd) was een kleurrijk man. <br \/><br \/>Hij speelde in talloze jinglesessies bij PAMS, &#8217;s werelds grootste producent  van jingles in de jaren &#8217;50 en &#8217;60. Hij was de man die op de duikplank sprong in jingle 12 (Diving board) uit PAMS series 27 Jet Set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/www.jingleweb.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Tommy-Loy-Diving-board-cut.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9n hij was de man die je in de jingle 7 &#8216;Yosemite&#8217; uit PAMS series 29 Go Go hoort roepen &#8220;aw c\u2019mon horse, ploughhhh\u2026&#8221;. Ach, geen wereldnieuws, maar leuk om op deze jinglefan-site even te melden.
