Maker is het bedrijf <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/sonicpicnic.nl\/');\"  href=\"https:\/\/sonicpicnic.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Sonic Picnic (opens in a new tab)\">Sonic Picnic<\/a> in Utrecht. Dat is te horen, want de vormgeving is hoorbaar familie van de vorige idents, die sinds 1 april 2014 in gebruik waren. Er zijn twee belangrijke verschillen: op alle zenders is de vormgeving hetzelfde, terwijl dat in de vorige reeks juist niet het geval was. Toen klonken de idents per zender verschillend: van pop tot klassiek. Daar is dus nu van af gestapt. En in de nieuwe vormgeving wordt ook de naam STER genoemd door een damesstem.
