We hadden \u00e9\u00e9n van de eerste websites in Nederland, en het aanpassen van de inhoud vergde destijds nog heel veel programmeerkunst en inzicht in wiskunde en algebra. De allereerste CD van ons Genootschap heette The History of Offshore Jingles, in 1997 uitgebracht. In het Engels gemaakt. Want Keith Skues, oud dj van Caroline, Radio London en Radio One bood aan om de teksten in te spreken. Daar hebben we toen niet lang over geaarzeld. De CD was al snel uitverkocht, we krijgen er nog wel eens vragen over. Vanwege de herhaalde verzoeken zetten we het ding nu in z&#8217;n geheel op Soundcloud. We zouden het nu wel beslist anders doen, sommige jingles zijn op de cd matigjes van kwaliteit, die hebben we inmiddels allemaal van de master. Bovendien kwamen er honderden voorbeelden bij. Misschien gaan we het ding &#8216;ns actualiseren, als we ons <em>ontstellend<\/em> vervelen. Nu is het relatief eenvoudig, toen werd alles met splice tape en een schaartje op een Revox in elkaar gezet.
