Op deze kerstdag even aandacht voor een aardige tune, of eigenlijk zijn het er drie, allemaal gemaakt door Ramsey Lewis with his Electric Band. Met zijn trio had Ramsey jarenlang platen gemaakt met dezelfde sound: een piano in een rokerige bar, meeneuri\u00ebnde mensen die met hun vingers knipten (zoals the &#8216;In&#8217;-crowd). In de jaren zeventig voegde hij funk toe en een synthesizer op de LP Sun Goddess (uit 1974 en op het Columbia label). En zo vernieuwde hij zichzelf in niet geringe mate. Op Mi Amigo gebruikte Bert Bennett (beter bekend als Bert Wijfjes en hierboven op de foto) de bedjes voor de Mi Amigo Top 100, de 50 daar en in algemene zin ook als er in de programma&#8217;s weer eens iets voorgelezen moest worden.
