\"Radio<\/a>18.06.2016 –<\/strong> Ferry Maat h\u00e1d al jingles gemaakt voor Radio 2 (‘Je voelt je thuis’) toen de NCRV hem vroeg of hij zelf ook niet als DJ voor de zender wilde gaan werken. “Het ei hadden ze, nu wilden ze ook nog de kip”, zegt Ferry zelf in het begeleidende boekje van de dubbel-CD waarmee het Genootschap Radiojingles zijn totale oeuvre samenbracht (“Ferry Maat Jinglemaker”<\/a><\/span>). In 1999 maakte hij nog eens zo’n groot pakket voor ‘2’. Slogan: Je hoort nog eens wat. Ferry voelde als DJ en geschoold musicus (hij heeft het diploma conservatorium piano) als geen ander aan wat de radio nodig had. Een interessant proces, hij \"TROS<\/a>bedacht alles zelf, speelde de meeste dingen dankzij MIDI thuis zelf in en regisseerde zowel de muzieksessies als het zingen. Plus het koper, van de befaamde selectie Stylus Horns. En dat alles in een grote concentratie. Zijn radiomaatje Ad Roland was erbij en maakte er een film van. Roland had samen met Ferry Maat bij de TROS gezeten en werd in de jaren negentig een veelgevraagd consultant voor de nieuwe stations in Duitsland en Oostenrijk en voormalige Oostbloklanden, toen zij ook daar serieus met de radio konden beginnen – een smakelijke en door de commercie nog onontgonnen radiokluif. Ad Roland ruimt momenteel zijn burelen leeg – hij is met pensioen. En dan vallen er\u00a0leuke dingen uit de kast.
