Vreemd is daarbij wel dat er 2 versies zijn. In de ene versie zingt zanger Cliff Nobles Horse is allright, in de andere versie is toch echt Love is allright te horen. Niet raar, want zo staat het ook op het label en de hoes.<br \/>\nHoe dan ook. De B-kant van de vocale versie (die dus eigenlijk Love is allright heet) was de instrumentale versie van het nummer. En die vonden ze bij Veronica nou juist de echte ontdekking. En dan heet het Horsin&#8217; up. Geinig. Ze zeggen het ook zelf in het intro van de plaat: het is een beetje van The Horse en een beetje van Tighten Up. En daarom verdient het hier een plaatje voor de liefhebbers van radio-jingles en radiotunes.<br \/>\nEn wist je dat 7\u00a0leden van het latere MFSB waren te horen zijn op The Horse van Cliff Nobles and Co?\u00a0In 1973 gingen ze onder de naam MFSB voor Philadelphia International Records werken met het producersduo Gamble and Huff. Ze begeleidden opnames van groepen als Harold Melvin &amp; the Blue Notes, The O&#8217;Jays, The Spinners, Wilson Pickett en Billy Paul.
