\"407693_2865001616710_109000822_a\"<\/a><\/strong>10.01.2014 –<\/strong> Elk\u00e9\u00e9n begint het nieuwe jaar welgemoed en vol voornemens. Tracy Carman, voorman van de Media Preservation Foundation heeft nieuwe CD’s beloofd. Deze foundation is een soort genootschap maar dan wat groter en heel Amerikaans (alles is immers groter in Amerika). Ze hebben van Muff Murfin toestemming gekregen zijn jingles ‘in the clear’ uit te brengen, dingen die hij deed met Tom Merriman, TM Century of Century 21. Ook van deze bedrijven in Dallas komt een trits CD’s, zegt hij. Dat is best leuk, want Century 21 is in de verzamelingen niet echt goed vertegenwoordigd. Ze deden jingles er ook altijd een beetje bij. Ze heetten eigenlijk Century 21 Programming en klanten vroegen behalve om syndicated programma’s ook om jingles om de boel verder op te fleuren. Nou, en dan pak je dat er toch gewoon bij? In 1993 ging het bedrijf samen met TM in Dallas. Een tijdje heette deze nieuwe tandem TM Century, later werd dat Jones TM en nu is het alweer twee jaar TM Studios. Zo ga je bij fusies langzaam maar zeker met je eigen naam ten onder. Dat betreuren de oud-medewerkers nog steeds, getuige de FACEBOOK<\/span><\/a> pagina, waar ze graag nog eens over vroeger praten.<\/p>\n
