\"\"<\/a>31.01.2013<\/strong> – We schreven er al eerder heel kort over: de Soul Power Smash Play (SPSP) jingles, die Ferry Maat draaide in zijn Soulshow in de jaren ’70 en ’80. Een soort persoonlijke soul-hittip van Ferry. En sinds dat eerdere bericht op \"\"<\/a>Jingleweb rollen de vragen erover bij ons binnen: ” welke muziek gebruikte Ferry eigenlijk voor die jingles?”
\nHieronder het uitgebreide antwoord, compleet met de originelen!
\nVan de Soul Power Smash Play\u00a0jingles bestonden 2 versies<\/a>.\u00a0Ferry gebruikt daarvoor in totaal 4 Amerikaanse jingles, ‘geleend’ van het fameuze jinglebedrijf PAMS in Dallas. Drie van de vier zogenoemde ‘bedjes’ komen uit PAMS Serie 37, getiteld Power Play. De set is gemaakt in 1969 voor WABC in New York. De vierde jingle (het begin van SPSP 1) komt uit Series 34, getiteld Music Power uit 1967, ook voor WABC. Speciaal voor Jingleweb zochten wij de 4 originel<\/a>e jingles<\/a> erbij in een aantal versies en maakten ook nog een remake van de twee jingles. In onderstaand overzicht staat SPSP natuurlijk \u00a0voor\u00a0Soul Power Smash Play.<\/p>\n

Maar Ferry Maat ‘vergreep’ zich aan meer Amerikaans spul. Luister maar eens naar deze\u00a04 jingles<\/a> van het bedrijf Pepper Tanner uit Memphis, Tennessee. Ze komen uit de set Super Soul – Uptight uit begin jaren ’70. Met heel veel Soul! en Super Soul! kreten.\u00a0Ferry zette hoogstpersoonlijk de schaar in een aantal jingles uit die set .
